Organic Yellow Mustard is made of organic yellow mustard seed grown on family farms in the cool high plains of Montana and Canada by those committed to building vital soil, cleansing the environment, and producing the safest, most delicious and nutritious food.

Expertly (99 years experience) combined with organic raw apple cider vinegar, organic turmeric, organic paprika, organic garlic and the finest Portuguese sea salt. We start with organically grown whole yellow mustard seed, Brassica alba, known for its mild heat and mellow sweetness. The seeds are milled into a stainless steel tank with pure water, apple cider vinegar, sea salt and spices. It is blended and then smoothly ground on a stone mill. Then it is allowed to sit and meld for at least 48 hours before packing in glass jars.

Commercial yellow mustards are often made with inexpensive mustard bran or a combination of yellow seeds and bran. Many contain artificial coloring agents, synthetic additives, harsh salt, refined sugar and irradiated spices. Most contain distilled vinegar, acetic acid concoctions derived from the petrochemical and coal tar industry. Regrettably, most organic mustards today are made using this distilled vinegar and other less than tasty ingredients.

Our organic apple cider vinegar contains ‘mother’ a visible mass of friendly bacteria present only in the highest quality and most healthful unpasteurized raw vinegar. Our sea salt is from environmentally protected, pristine salt water marshes of Portugal, triple sea water washed to remove impurities without removing valuable trace minerals and naturally dried. The spices in Organic Yellow Mustard are certified organic and non-irradiated.

Mustard is a member of the cabbage (Cruciferae) family. Its plants produce bright yellow flowers that contain small round seeds.
